About $821,000 pledged thus far toward a $1.2 million renovation goal
The Little Flower parish is at the intersection of poor and rich in its location and demographics. It is not an impoverished inner city parish, with demonstrable need, nor is it a well-to-do parish seeking its proper share of its members' commitment to its survival. There, at this intersection, the faith of the poor and the yearning of the well-to-do intersect in a proverbial mixture of sacrifice and deed.
That such a parish can commit itself to such fundraising that might approach $1.2 million bespeaks volumes of the wondrous presence of God in its midst, and the intercession of St. Therese in fomenting such devotion through her little way. A parish is its members: members of the Body of Christ. We seek to renew our meeting place.
