Lord, how great You are!

Lord, how great You are! Your mysteries stir the contemplative mind! What is the purpose of life? If man is Your only creature capable of contemplating both self and You, our purpose is to explore to the ends of our imagination. That ultimate discovery is that the created universe is the result of the divine love, a natural extension of that tangible love our Father offers to us.

Father, we are dust in our physical presence compared to the vastness of Your universe. Yet, You have given us the gift to know how small we are, and yet how great is each individual existence when embraced by Your grace and love!

Lord, my thoughts seek Your truth. I awake in the night and wonder upon that tiny thread of Your presence is seem to grasp. This nearly invisible thread of truth hangs before us all.  It is offered from heaven not as a rope of judgment, but as a rescue line cast down to us from above.

Lord, forgive the inability of my heart and mind to simply rest in Your will. I seek the inspiration of Your presence and pray to write here from within it. I pray for Your continued guidance and my openness to Your call. My life is dust, yet it is magnified by Your breath, calling it to service in Your universal love. Amen.
