The death endured whose final foretaste was the agony of indignity, hate, torture and crucifixion is undone! The final 40 days on earth for Jesus earthly form, consummated in sacrifice of his earthly life, are ended. He is risen!

After all Your miracles Lord, while You were here, there was still unbelief. Your holy people sought the power of nationhood through their foretold messiah king. You showed them that the fruits of heavenly power are forgiveness and mercy. Before humankind was the desire for what was seen as good. What was best was given by the Lord, in His Son: a mystery of sacrificial love, boundless in giving!

Your friends and apostles did not realize the whole of the story until the first rays of light today, Easter, shed a new understanding of Your story here on earth! Doubt, confusion, need can be overturned in embracing the Love that gave all on the cross so that we might live!
